New Jersey-based but Brooklyn-raised comedian Dan Marquez has been doing stand-up for over 8 years. Performing at venues like Helium, Stress Factory, and Denver Comedy Works, Dan brings his own form of bitingly sarcastic Puerto Rican flavor to the stage. 

As you might have gleaned from his many jokes about food, Dan is always in search of the next amazing meal - many of which he happens to concoct himself. Although he has a background cooking classical Italian and French cuisines, he loves to explore traditional ethnic recipes in an effort to "cook his way across the globe." He enjoys a strong cup of coffee in the morning and swears he invented butter-based creamer. (What a loser.)

Aside from comedy and cooking, Dan is passionate about helping animals and frequently partners with animal rescues, using his skills as a comedian to bring crowds to charity events while raising money for their cause. 

Stand-Up For Something Comedy is a special series of shows Dan performs to help raise money for charity. Dan partners with other comedians and organizations then a portion of the ticket sales are donated to support the cause.
